These computer labs will serve to decrease spaces in access to gadgets and the Internet by offering public computer system access for individuals with specials needs, Marylanders without irreversible residence (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning residents. The program offers grants of approximately $65,000 for as much as 100% for the development, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal guidelines needed of the financing use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to roughly $11.8 million readily available through Connect Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
