These computer system labs will serve to reduce spaces in access to devices and the Internet by offering public computer access for people with specials needs, Marylanders without irreversible home (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning residents. The program supplies grants of as much as $65,000 for approximately 100% for the development, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal rules needed of the financing apply to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to roughly $11.8 million readily available through Connect Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
