A match of 5% of the eligible project expenses is needed for this grant opportunity. Grant and match requirements are additional described in the Grant Application Plan. The funding source for the program remains the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021, Capital Projects Fund and all federal guidelines required of the funding source use to the program.

These computer system labs will serve to reduce spaces in access to devices and the Web by providing public computer gain access to for people with specials needs, Marylanders without long-term house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning citizens. The program provides grants of as much as $65,000 for up to 100% for the production, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal rules needed of the financing use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million offered through Link Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.

Financing will support jobs that enhance broadband transportation capacity, affiliation, resiliency, redundancy, and long-lasting network scalability. These tasks are meant to enhance the performance, dependability, and sustainability of broadband networks serving residents, companies, and public-interest uses throughout Maryland.
